January 2023

2022 was another exciting year for Sportstranslations as live sport returned to pre-pandemic levels and fans once again flocked to some of the biggest events on the planet. Demands from our clients to reach a truly global audience saw us expand our range of languages offered, with all the major European and Asian languages now provided across a range of disciplines. Our sporting year culminated in Qatar with the FIFA World Cup (the seventh successive edition we have covered), where we provided real-time translations in 10 languages and helped the tournament achieve a combined global audience in excess of five billion.

Heading into 2023, as we gear up for major events like Roland Garros, the Tour de France and the FIFA Women’s World Cup, we would like to thank all our clients for their continued custom and look forward to helping our new customers grow their global audience and client base. With the expanding pace of digitization, it has never been more important to have effective communication between brands, teams, fans and athletes - in their own languages. All well as being specialists in the disciplines themselves, our expanded teams of linguists have expertise in domains as varied as sports marketing, e-sports, social media management, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, social development through sport, and e-learning.
